Anti-racism, decolonization + liberation-focused therapy

My commitment to this work is both personal and professional. I believe that by healing the wounds of colonization and oppression within ourselves and our families, we contribute to a larger movement of collective liberation. I am here to walk alongside you on that path with care and deep respect.

This is a space where you can bring all parts of yourself—your rage, your grief, your contradictions, and your hope. I am committed to a practice of cultural humility, meaning I will continually seek to understand your unique context, and I welcome your feedback as the expert on your own life experiences.

Therapy Approach

Healing from systemic and intergenerational trauma requires more than just talk therapy. My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and rooted in anti-oppressive principles. I integrate modalities that honor the mind-body connection, understanding that trauma is stored in the nervous system.

Depending on your needs, our work may include:

  • Somatic (Body-Based) Awareness: To help you recognize and shift how trauma and oppression live in your body.

  • Psychoeducation: To help you make sense of your experiences through a lens of historical and systemic context, reducing self-blame.

  • Relational & Attachment-Based Work: To heal the ways intergenerational trauma has impacted your ability to trust and connect with others.

  • Narrative Therapy: To help you separate your identity from the stories of oppression and reclaim your own narrative.

  • “ It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences. ”

  • Celebrating liberation is a matter of advocacy, social justice, and human rights.

A more accepting, imaginative, and welcoming society can be created. May we embrace the remarkable way that our souls, hearts, and bodies were built - and work together for a more equitable and inclusive future for all.
